According to Metro on Monday May 11, 2026, Rio Ferdinand has backed Arsenal to complete a stunning Premier League and Champions League double this season, declaring that Mikel Arteta’s side have what it takes to overcome Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final later this month.
The Gunners currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League table with two games remaining, putting them on the verge of their first league title in over two decades.
They will then face the Champions League holders PSG, widely regarded as the most dominant club side in world football at present.
