Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Trump said Iran was attempting to reach an agreement but indicated that the offer fell short of US expectations.

He stated that Tehran had made progress in negotiations but suggested uncertainty over whether a final deal could be achieved. He added that Iran was requesting terms he could not accept, while also pointing to internal divisions among Iranian leaders as a complicating factor in the talks.

Trump confirmed he had been briefed by US Central Command chief Bradley Cooper on possible military options. He outlined the stark choice facing Washington, weighing the option of launching a decisive military strike against Iran against continuing diplomatic efforts to reach a deal.

While noting a preference to avoid military action on humanitarian grounds, Trump reiterated that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons remained a key priority.

Earlier, Iranian state media and a Pakistani official involved in mediation efforts said Tehran had submitted a new proposal through Islamabad. The official indicated that Pakistan had received the offer and forwarded it to Washington, though details were not immediately disclosed.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Iran’s latest proposal includes a shift in its position on the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran is said to have dropped its earlier demand that the United States lift its naval blockade before negotiations begin.

Instead, the proposal reportedly suggests that discussions over the strategic waterway could start simultaneously with a gradual easing of the US blockade, alongside guarantees of no further attacks.

The proposal also includes willingness from Iran to engage in discussions over its nuclear program in exchange for relief from US sanctions. Sources cited in the report indicated that Tehran may be open to holding talks with Washington in Pakistan if the US agrees to the framework.

The situation around the Strait of Hormuz remains critical, with its closure disrupting global energy markets. The waterway accounts for around 20 percent of the world’s oil and gas supply, and the ongoing blockade has driven oil prices to multi-year highs.

Meanwhile, Iran’s judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei said the United States had achieved no gains during the conflict and maintained that Iran remained open to negotiations but would not yield to pressure or abandon its principles.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
