According to a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Arise News on Sunday, July 19, 2026, Lawyer and Principal Counsel, Jiti Ogunye, questioned the credibility of the claims made by Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, while discussing the ongoing legal proceedings against him.
During the interview, Ogunye said many individuals and groups were initially willing to support Adeyemi after he made allegations against senior government officials.
