Nigeria Democratic Congress vice-presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso has responded to remarks credited to former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Sheriff, who reportedly suggested that the North would withhold its backing for NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi, notwithstanding Kwankwaso’s position as running mate, in a report by Daily Post on 21st of July, 2026.
