Speaking during a video posted on his official Facebook page on Friday, July 10th 2026, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to make significant changes within his political camp if he hopes to emerge as Nigeria’s next president.
In a prophetic message on the 2027 general election, the cleric said Atiku must address developments surrounding his political ambition, warning that they could affect his chances at the polls.
Ayodele maintained that the former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate should reassess those around him and make necessary adjustments if he is serious about contesting for the nation’s highest office.
“Atiku Abubakar, if really you want to be president of Nigeria, a lot of things that is going on around you must be changed,” Ayodele said.
Although he did not specify the changes he believed were necessary, the cleric suggested that the political environment surrounding Atiku required urgent attention ahead of the next presidential election.
He also claimed that some political parties were not genuinely committed to supporting Atiku’s presidential ambition, a development he said could pose challenges to his campaign.
“Because some other party doesn’t want to,” he added.
Speaking further, Ayodele predicted that the northern region would play the decisive role in determining the outcome of the 2027 presidential election.
“But sincerely, the northerners will decide who becomes the president of Nigeria,” the prophet stated.
Ayodele, who is known for making prophecies on political developments in Nigeria and other African countries, has repeatedly commented on the 2027 race and the prospects of major political figures.
