In a recent video posted on his official Facebook page on Friday, July 10th 2026, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned judges who will preside over election petitions and tribunal cases in Nigeria to uphold fairness and justice in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The cleric issued the warning during a prophetic message, stressing that judicial officers handling electoral disputes must avoid bias and ensure that their decisions reflect the principles of justice.
According to Ayodele, judges should remain impartial, warning that there would be consequences for anyone who deliberately delivers unjust judgments in election-related cases.
“In Nigeria, those that will do election trials, if they don’t do fair judgement right, I see the anger of God on any of the judges,” he said.
He urged members of the judiciary assigned to election tribunals and petition cases to resist every form of influence capable of compromising the integrity of the judicial process.
“Judges who are going to do election trials or who are going to do petition or what have you, please be sincere,” Ayodele stated.
The prophet also appealed to judicial officers not to allow personal interests or external pressure to influence their verdicts, insisting that justice must prevail in every electoral dispute brought before the courts.
“Don’t take Peter to rob Paul. These are messages of the Lord Almighty,” he added.
Ayodele, who is known for making prophecies on political and national issues, has repeatedly called on public office holders and institutions to act with integrity in order to safeguard Nigeria’s democracy.
The cleric maintained that the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral process depends not only on the conduct of elections but also on the fairness and impartiality of judicial decisions arising from post-election petitions.
