Ngozi Ishiwu-Obodo, widow of the late police inspector Dr. Ikechukwu Obodo, shared her account of the events surrounding her husband’s death, describing it as a heartbreaking tragedy that has deeply affected her family.
In an interview with The PUNCH, Ngozi identified herself as a native of Opi in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, while her late husband was from Ologo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of the same state.
When asked about how the incident occurred, she said it happened on Sunday, July 5. She explained that her husband had spent the weekend with the family, as he typically did before returning to his duty station on Sundays.
