Several reactions have trailed the comment that was made by the governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara ahead of the general elections in 2027.
The statement of the Rivers state governor was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of Arise News on May 12, 2026.
In the report that surfaced online, the Rivers state governor encouraged members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC to perform very well during the 2027 general elections.
Siminalayi Fubara asked the NYSC members to discharge their INEC ad-hoc duties with good conscience and fearless moral uprightness.
Here is what the Rivers state governor said according to Arise News;
“Discharge your INEC ad-hoc duties with good conscience and fearless moral uprightness in order to live up to the expectations of Nigerians and the scheme’s top management”.
