A Nigerian social media user, AlvinOfLagos, has sparked conversation online after lamenting the high cost of transportation from airports in the country.
In a post that has gained attention, he highlighted the disparity between flight ticket prices and the cost of getting to one’s final destination after landing.
“Someone will buy a flight ticket for ₦150,000, and after arriving, still spend about ₦50,000 on airport taxi fare,” he said.
According to him, the situation has become so extreme that he opted for an alternative means of transportation to cut costs.
He revealed that he chose to use a motorcycle instead of a taxi due to the high fares charged by airport drivers.
The comment has since triggered widespread reactions, with many Nigerians sharing similar experiences and frustrations over transportation costs around major airports.
