According to reports by Anadolu News Agency on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a sharp warning to the United States following recent comments by President Donald Trump regarding the possibility of renewed military strikes against Iran. Tehran’s top diplomat signaled that any future confrontation would provoke a response that could significantly escalate tensions across the Middle East.
Speaking during a media briefing amid growing regional uncertainty, Araghchi reacted to Trump’s recent warning about potential military action by cautioning Washington against returning to direct conflict with the Islamic Republic. The Iranian foreign minister stated that if the United States chooses to resume military operations, it should expect consequences beyond what it may anticipate.
“Be assured, if you return to the battlefield, you will face many surprises,” Araghchi declared, according to Iranian state-linked media reports. His remarks are being interpreted by analysts as a message aimed at deterring both the United States and Israel from considering additional strikes on Iranian territory or military infrastructure.
The warning comes during a period of heightened geopolitical tension involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. Recent exchanges of threats between leaders in Washington and Tehran have intensified fears of a wider regional conflict, particularly as diplomatic negotiations surrounding Iran’s nuclear activities continue to face major obstacles.
President Trump recently stated that military options remain available if diplomacy with Iran fails, while also emphasizing that he would prefer a negotiated outcome rather than another large-scale conflict in the region. His administration has maintained pressure on Tehran through sanctions, military deployments, and close coordination with Israel on regional security issues.
Iranian officials, however, insist that the country is fully prepared to defend itself against any external aggression. Senior military commanders in Tehran have repeatedly warned that attacks on Iran could trigger retaliatory measures targeting American interests and allied positions throughout the Middle East. Analysts say Iran’s response strategy could involve missile operations, drone strikes, cyber capabilities, and support from allied regional armed groups.
Araghchi’s statement also reflects Iran’s broader diplomatic strategy of combining negotiations with strong military rhetoric. Tehran has continued engaging in indirect talks with Western governments while simultaneously warning that threats or military pressure will not force the country into political concessions. Iranian leaders argue that national sovereignty and security remain non-negotiable issues.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
