Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Jibrin Samuel Okutepa, has praised Abia State Governor Alex Otti for naming the newly commissioned Umuahia Bus Terminal after Professor Nnenna Oti.

The reaction was shared on Okutepa’s verified X account on Thursday, May 28, 2026, following reports that the transport facility was dedicated to Professor Oti, who served as the returning officer during the 2023 Abia State governorship election that produced Alex Otti as governor.

In his response, the legal practitioner applauded both Governor Otti and Professor Nnenna Oti, describing the gesture as a recognition of honesty and uprightness. He noted that the professor displayed courage and integrity during the election process despite the pressures often associated with public duties in Nigeria.
