Captain Tukur Burutai Tukur, son of former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Yusuf Buratai, joined his father and other family members in observing the Eid al-Adha prayers alongside Muslim faithful during the blessed celebration.
According to a media post shared by Captain Tukur Burutai Tukur on Thursday, May 28, 2026, the family gathered in the spirit of sacrifice, faith, and gratitude to Almighty Allah as Muslims across the world marked the important Islamic festival.
He noted that Eid al-Adha serves as a reminder of the values of obedience, patience, sacrifice, and compassion toward one another.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening unity, showing kindness to the less privileged, and praying for lasting peace and progress in communities and the nation at large.
Captain Tukur Burutai Tukur further prayed for Allah (SWT) to accept the prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds of the faithful while blessing the people with peace, good health, and prosperity.
