According to VANGUARD report on Monday May 4, 2026, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned that the United States must end its blockade on Iranian ports within 30 days, placing pressure on US President Donald Trump to either continue military action or agree to a deal.
The warning comes as tensions rise in the Middle East, with concerns that the situation could affect global oil supply.
The statement followed Iran’s decision to present a 14-point plan to the United States, calling for peace assurances, the removal of the blockade, and an end to fighting across all fronts, including Lebanon.
Speaking on the proposal, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, said the plan is designed to bring a lasting solution and not just a temporary pause in the conflict, adding that it also includes steps to help rebuild trust between both countries.
In response, Trump said he is reviewing the proposal but remains uncertain about reaching an agreement, following his earlier dissatisfaction with a previous offer sent through Pakistan.
