In a recent video on Fox on Thursday June 4th, 2026, Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst has reported that President Donald Trump believes a new agreement with Iran could be reached as early as this weekend, signaling renewed momentum in negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
Speaking during a broadcast on Wednesday, Yingst said discussions between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran appear to be advancing, with the Trump administration expressing optimism about the prospects for a breakthrough.
“President Trump believes a deal with Iran could be reached as early as this weekend,” Yingst reported.

“The president spoke from the Oval Office on Wednesday about the negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying the United States has a very powerful deal they are negotiating,” Yingst stated.
