SHOCKING: Osinbajo Reveals What He Planned After Fellowship: “2 Heineken, Then Bible Study”

According to a report by Leadership News on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice President of Nigeria, has given a light-hearted narration of the unusual experience that eventually led him to completely stop consuming alcohol, describing the moment as one that quietly reshaped his personal choices over time.

In a video currently circulating on social media on Tuesday, Osinbajo revisited the specific incident he said played a major role in his decision to quit drinking entirely.

He spoke in a relaxed manner while recalling how a simple routine activity turned into a defining moment in his lifestyle change.

He explained that even though he serves as a pastor, there were times in his earlier years when he still took red wine and beer occasionally.

According to him, his religious calling did not immediately translate into total abstinence, as he still engaged in moderate drinking during certain periods of his life.

Osinbajo further disclosed that the turning point happened during his time with the United Nations Mission in Mogadishu, Somalia, where he was engaged in the Justice Sector.

He noted that his experience in the mission environment placed him in a different setting that contributed to a shift in his personal reflections and habits.

He went on to describe that on a particular Sunday, after attending and preaching at a fellowship service, he was returning from the gathering when the incident occurred.

He explained that the day followed a typical routine of worship and reflection before the unexpected decision that followed afterward.

According to him, while heading back to his accommodation after the fellowship, he made a personal choice that would later become significant in his life story.

He stated that he intended to pick up something small for himself before settling in for private study and reflection in his room.

Osinbajo explained that he decided to buy two cans of Heineken to take back with him while he planned to read his Bible.

He described the moment as a simple personal routine that eventually became a turning point in how he viewed his lifestyle choices moving forward.

“On this particular Sunday, I was coming back from the Fellowship where I had preached, and I was just hoping to buy two canned Heineken and go to my room and read my Bible,” he said.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
