In a recent Facebook video, Primate Ayodele shared his views on the possible selection of a vice-presidential candidate within the ADC, offering a prediction that may shape political discussions ahead of future elections.
He stated clearly that certain prominent figures may not secure the position, while hinting at another potential contender who could emerge as a strong choice.
According to him, “Obi will not get the ADC Vice President and likewise Seyi Makinde.”
This remark suggests that both Peter Obi and Governor Seyi Makinde may be sidelined in the party’s internal considerations for the role.
Ayodele went further to give what he described as advice to the party leadership, saying, “And if I want to advise the ADC don’t want to give it to Seyi Makinde.”
His statement implies that backing Makinde for the position could be a strategic misstep for the party.
