Emmanuel Godson Odiniya, father of BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye, has spoken about the misunderstanding between him and his daughter, saying he worked hard to help her become successful but has not received support from her in return.
In a recording shared by DAILY TRUST on Monday May 11, 2026, Emmanuel said he used his influence and connections to mobilise votes for Ilebaye during the reality show. He said people across Kogi State and other parts of the country supported her because of the efforts he made behind the scenes.
He also claimed that some governors and his friends donated money used to buy internet data for voting during the competition. Odiniya said many people contributed to her success and expected appreciation after she won the show.
Here’s what Emmanuel said,
“I used my influence seriously to make people of Kogi State and all over vote massively for my daughter. Even governors of some states and my colleagues donated money which was used in buying the IUC.”
