According to a video on CBN News, on Thursday June 4, 2026, Iranian-born Christian pastor and broadcaster Reza Safa issued a firm and direct call for the United States to follow through on military and political pressure against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing the current moment as one of the most important in recent history for both America and the Iranian people.
Safa, who was born in Iran and came to the United States as a college student in 1978, has a deeply personal understanding of the Iranian regime and what life under it means for ordinary citizens.
He participated in the Iranian Revolution led by Ayatollah Khomeini before eventually fleeing to Sweden, where he encountered Christianity and converted from Shia Islam.
That transformation, he says, gave him a new lens through which to see both Iran and America.
Speaking with CBN’s Kelly Wright, Safa did not mince words about what he believes the United States must do.
He expressed strong support for the current military posture of the Trump administration against Iran and urged the president not to pull back or settle for a weak agreement.
In his words, Reza Safa said, “This is a very critical time for America, for our president, for our future to finish this task and topple this regime,” he said.
Safa also spoke about the voices he continues to hear from inside Iran through his Christian broadcasting ministry, TBN Nejat TV, a Farsi-language Christian channel that reaches audiences inside Iran and across the Middle East.
He said those voices carry an urgency and desperation that people in the West rarely hear or fully appreciate.
