During an interview with TrustTV News on Wednesday, June 3, 2027, Oladimeji Fabiyi, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress ADC, have shaded Babachir Lawal, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, for his criticisms towards former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
Following the conclusion of the presidential primaries in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), ex-SGF Babachir Lawal has accused the leadership of the party of manipulating the election results in favor of the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
However, during the interview, the ADC chieftain, Oladimeji Fabiyi, criticized ex-SGF Babachir Lawal, labeling him as an irresponsible politician.
Fabiyi sarcastically asked if Babachir Lawal is unaware that Atiku Abubakar is a Fulani man before joining the coalition since he is now questioning the ethnicity of the former vice president.
In Fabiyi’s words, “He came out and accused Atiku of being a Fulani man, so when Atiku was setting up a coalition and he joined, he didn’t know Atiku was a Fulani man then.”
