According to a report by Kyiv Post on Thursday, June 4, 2026, Ukrainian drones have struck a Russian patrol vessel in occupied Crimea and hit multiple military and logistics facilities overnight, according to the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
In a Telegram update on Thursday, Brovdi said the operation targeted a Russian Project 10410 Svetlyak-class border patrol ship stationed in Yurkyno, in eastern Crimea.
The nearly 50-metre vessel is used for protecting ports and maritime infrastructure and can also be deployed for air defence and anti-submarine missions. It is equipped with Igla surface-to-air missiles, an AK-176 naval gun, heavy machine guns, and other anti-aircraft systems.
Brovdi said the strike formed part of a wider overnight campaign targeting Russian military assets across occupied territories.
He added that Ukrainian drones also hit a Pantsir-S1 air defence system in Strilkove, in the Kherson region, as well as an RSBN-4N radio navigation system near Saky in Crimea.
Other reported targets included locomotives in Vladyslavivka and Rozdolne, electrical transformers in Bulavynske and Vuhlehirsk in occupied Donetsk region, and fuel storage tanks in Makiivka.
The coordinated strikes are part of Ukraine’s ongoing effort to degrade Russia’s military logistics network, air defence systems, and naval capabilities far behind the front lines.
The latest operation comes amid a series of recent Ukrainian attacks on Russian naval infrastructure.
On June 3, Ukrainian forces reportedly struck military facilities in the Russian naval hub of Kronstadt near St. Petersburg, with officials claiming the corvette Boykiy was among the vessels hit.
Earlier, on May 23, Ukrainian drones targeted the Russian naval base in Novorossiysk, reportedly damaging the frigate Admiral Essen and a Project 1239 missile hovercraft belonging to the Black Sea Fleet.
