Former Minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung has alleged that a video showing Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila urging ADC lawmaker Leke Abejide to destabilise the ADC has confirmed what he describes as a sponsored plot against the party.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Trust, Dalung said, “When I saw that video of Femi Gbajabiamila, I celebrated and sang praises to God I serve because he exposed them. We already knew much of what they were doing behind the scenes. But because God is God, He used the occasion of that man’s birthday which he should have been celebrating with his wife to expose the type of character and personality the lawmakers truly is.”
Dalung alleged that the most telling detail was that Gbajabiamila appeared to forget he was being recorded, which he interpreted as a moment of divine exposure rather than a simple oversight.
He argued that the video made any denial from the presidency impossible to sustain, and described the moment as a vindication for those who had long suspected that the ADC’s internal crisis was being engineered from outside the party.
