Prince Adewole Adebayo, a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has cast doubt on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support base within the ruling party, suggesting that even members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) may not ultimately back him at the polls.
Adebayo made the remarks during an interview on Channels Television, where he spoke on the current political climate and internal dynamics within Nigeria’s major parties. The SDP figure, who has been vocal about governance and electoral reforms, argued that dissatisfaction within the APC may be deeper than publicly acknowledged.
Speaking during the interview, Adebayo said, “Even APC members may not be in the passion of speaking, but I don’t think they will even vote for President Tinubu.” He suggested that while party loyalists may refrain from openly criticizing the administration, their actions during elections could reflect a different sentiment. According to him, internal discontent, if not addressed, could translate into a lack of electoral support for the president from within his own ranks.
The SDP stalwart further implied that Nigeria’s political landscape is shifting, with increasing scrutiny on governance performance and accountability. He argued that political allegiance is no longer guaranteed solely by party membership, as voters, including those within ruling parties are becoming more pragmatic in their choices.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
