BREAKING: Sani Reacts After South Africa Captain’s ‘Leave Politics to Politicians’ Message

Former senator Shehu Sani has reacted after South Africa captain Ronwen Williams called on African football fans to remain united and avoid allowing politics to divide them during the ongoing World Cup.

Williams made the appeal after reports circulated online claiming he had criticized Africans for supporting Mexico instead of South Africa. The goalkeeper dismissed the claims, insisting that the comments were falsely attributed to him.

According to Williams, he has always believed that African countries should stand together in both good and difficult times. He stressed that football should bring people together rather than create unnecessary divisions among supporters.

The South African captain also highlighted the diverse atmosphere at the tournament, noting that fans from different countries and backgrounds have gathered to celebrate the game. He urged supporters to focus on football and leave political matters to leaders and government officials.

Reacting to the development via X, Shehu Sani suggested that South Africa’s national team is facing negative reactions from some Africans because of past xenophobic attacks carried out by mobs in the country against other African nationals.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
