Anthony Ehilebo, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, of using his recent ministerial media briefing to reassure President Bola Tinubu that the opposition party would not pose a serious challenge in the 2027 presidential election.
Ehilebo made the allegation during an appearance on Channels Television on Friday, July 10, 2026, while reacting to Wike’s remarks about the PDP’s chances of reclaiming power in the next general election.
According to him, the FCT minister’s comments were less about analysing the political situation within the PDP and more about demonstrating to President Tinubu that he had fulfilled his political commitment to weaken the opposition.Favor And Life Battles? (Silent spiritual powers of favor). Favor gives you upper hand quietly, in your life battles, business, career, any occupation, power for desired position in life, upliftment in undertakings, patronage/contract, promise and fail, payment delays, love matters, marriage choice, seized/disputed properties, etc. Overcome delays, rejection, betrayal and achieve heart desires in time. The PDP member argued that Wike should have devoted the briefing to issues directly affecting residents of the Federal Capital Territory, including infrastructure development, road construction, water supply and other governance matters, rather than discussing the internal affairs and electoral prospects of the PDP.
Ehilebo maintained that a ministerial briefing ought to serve as an opportunity to account for government performance and address the concerns of citizens, not to make partisan political declarations.
He further contended that Wike’s public assessment of the PDP amounted to a political “report card” to the President, reinforcing the perception that the minister was working in the interest of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
Questioning Wike’s continued criticism of the opposition party despite his political roots in the PDP, Ehilebo said the minister’s comments were inconsistent with the responsibilities of his office and reflected a shift from governance to partisan politics.
Summing up his position, Ehilebo declared: “What Wike did in his press briefing was to tell the President: ‘I have delivered, the PDP cannot challenge you in 2027.’ That’s exactly what he did, instead of doing what he’s actually supposed to do as FCT Minister.”See more
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
