BREAKING: Salihu Warns Tinubu Government May Be Overwhelmed by Rising Public Anger and Frustration

A prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ladan Salihu, has raised serious concerns about the capacity of the administration led by President Bola Tinubu to effectively address the growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians.

Salihu noted that public anger has intensified significantly, driven by persistent economic hardship, insecurity, and what many Nigerians perceive as unfulfilled promises made at the start of the administration. According to him, the optimism that initially greeted the government has gradually diminished, giving way to disappointment and skepticism about its ability to deliver meaningful change.

He argued that rather than calming public tension, recent policies and actions by the administration have failed to inspire confidence or provide reassurance to citizens. This perceived lack of responsiveness, he implied, has contributed to a widening gap between the government and the people.

Emphasizing his concerns, Salihu stated, “This government will not measure up with the anger and the frustration of the Nigerian people.” This remark highlights his belief that the administration may lack either the capacity or the commitment required to adequately respond to the pressing needs and expectations of the populace.

Furthermore, he warned that ignoring the growing dissatisfaction among citizens could have serious political consequences.
