Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has expressed strong views regarding the political alignment of Nyesom Wike during a recent interview on Arise

According to Bode George, the situation surrounding Wike’s dual association with the PDP and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration has created confusion and raises questions about
loyalty and party discipline. He argued that it is no longer sustainable for Wike to maintain ties with the PDP while actively participating in an APC government structure.
In his words, Bode George stated: “The government is still allowing him to say he’s in PDP while he’s working for the APC government. If he wants to be in PDP this is the time to get out of wherever he is and come.”
He further emphasized that clarity is needed now more than ever, insisting that political allegiance should not be ambiguous. George suggested that Wike must make a clear decision about where he belongs politically, adding that continued ambiguity could undermine party unity and discipline within the PDP.
Reiterating his position, he said: “If he wants to be in PDP this is the time to get out of wherever he is and come.”
