Fresh Trouble for ADC as South-West Caucus Raises Alarm Over ‘Sabotage’

The South-West caucus of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed concern over the alleged actions of its National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, stating that they are affecting the party’s coordination and progress in the region ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to Vanguard, the concerns followed a review of the party’s recent national convention held in Abuja.

According to the South-West leadership, the problems go beyond the event and highlight deeper issues related to unity, coordination, and preparedness in one of the party’s most important regions.

In a statement by Dr. Babatunde Oke, National Director of Communication and Programmes, speaking on behalf of the South-West leadership led by Honourable Rahman Owokoniran, the caucus emphasized the need for unity, peace, and cooperation.

However, it also pointed out what it described as a major internal problem affecting the region.

The caucus said the situation has continued despite several complaints sent to the party’s national headquarters.

It noted that these issues have negatively impacted membership registration, party expansion, and overall performance in the South-West.

It described the region’s turnout at the national convention as poor and disappointing.

The leaders also questioned Aregbesola’s loyalty to the party, asking him to clearly state whether he is working in the interest of the ADC.

They accused him of actions that appear to weaken the party’s progress while claiming to support it.

Furthermore, the caucus highlighted the emergence of duplicate state congresses and parallel structures in the region, describing them as avoidable and embarrassing developments.

The group called on the national leadership, led by Chairman David Mark, to intervene and restore stability.

It warned that continued internal conflict could harm the party’s chances in future elections if not urgently addressed, urging all members to focus on unity and strengthening the party.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
