Professor Isa Ali Pantami, former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has revealed details about individuals he assisted in securing high-paying government jobs, shedding light on the financial benefits some beneficiaries now enjoy.
Speaking during an interview on Trust TV, Pantami reflected on his time in public service and his role in helping certain individuals gain employment within federal institutions. He suggested that some of those he supported have gone on to achieve significant financial success through their positions.
Highlighting a specific example, Pantami shared an account of one beneficiary who recently reached out to express gratitude. He said, “I know somebody that’s in a federal government institution; the last time he sent me a message of appreciation, he said his pocket annually he is earning from government is N88 million.” The statement underscores the level of income some individuals reportedly earn within government establishments.
