In a recent video post on Channels Tv, Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed confidence that Nigerians will continue to benefit from the reforms introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the coming years.
Speaking during the “10 Million National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally,” the First Lady addressed Nigerian women and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), praising them for their patience, resilience, prayers, and steadfast support despite the country’s economic challenges.
According to her, the sacrifices made by Nigerians, especially women, during the removal of the fuel subsidy will not be in vain. She appreciated women across the country for standing firm and supporting the government during difficult times.
“I want to appreciate all our women for your resilience, sacrifice, prayers, and steadfastness, particularly during the removal of the fuel subsidy. Your patience, understanding, and endurance have not gone unnoticed,” she said.
Mrs. Tinubu further stated that the first term of President Tinubu’s administration has focused on laying a strong foundation for the nation through bold and necessary reforms aimed at achieving long-term prosperity.
She acknowledged that the reforms have required sacrifices from Nigerians but maintained that the benefits would soon become visible across the country.
“This first term of Mr. President has been a period of laying a solid foundation through bold and necessary reforms that will usher in lasting prosperity for our dear nation. Though the process has demanded sacrifice, the seeds have been planted, and I am confident that Nigeria will continue to reap the fruits of these reforms in the days and years ahead,” she added.
