According to a report by London Evening Standard on Sunday May 10, 2026, Arsenal have confirmed their starting lineup for today’s crucial Premier League clash against West Ham as Mikel Arteta keeps faith with the same side for a third consecutive match.
The Gunners head into the London derby knowing that victory would move them one step closer to the league title. However, West Ham are expected to provide a stern challenge as they continue their battle to avoid relegation.
Arteta has resisted the urge to make changes after Arsenal’s recent victories over Fulham and Atletico Madrid. Club captain Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz both remain on the bench despite returning to fitness. The Arsenal manager has instead rewarded the players who delivered in recent outings.
Viktor Gyokeres keeps his place in attack after an impressive run of form. The striker will lead the line alongside Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Leandro Trossard in a dangerous forward setup. Arteta also confirmed before kickoff that Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber remain unavailable due to injury concerns. The Arsenal boss admitted both players still face a race against time to feature again before the season ends.
